Control Your Browser with Poses Using PoseKey
PoseKey is a Chrome extension developed by swjomojomo that allows you to control your browser using your webcam and poses. This innovative program utilizes AI models implemented with Tensorflow.js to detect your poses and translate them into browser commands. With PoseKey, you can navigate web pages, scroll, click, and perform other browser functions without any motion detecting hardware.
The program comes with six default poses that are pre-defined, but users also have the option to train a custom model in the options page. To activate PoseKey, simply click on the power button on the popup page. The icon will change to indicate if the program is running properly.
In order to enable training for custom poses, users need to sign in with their Google account. This can be done through the third tab on the popup page. The middle tab on the popup page allows users to mirror the tab and access the options page, where camera access can be granted. Additionally, users can customize the location or hide the interface box on the popup page.
Please note that due to a recent Chrome update, custom models are currently not usable, but the developer is working on fixing this issue. PoseKey requires a connected camera (including laptop cameras) and a Google email to function.
Overall, PoseKey offers a unique and hands-free browsing experience, allowing users to control their browser with simple poses. While there may be some limitations and technical issues, the potential for this type of control is exciting and shows promise for future developments in browser interaction.
